Choose Intentionally
How do I decide whether to place another bet?
Sometimes the hardest part is not knowing whether a bet will win. It is knowing whether you actually want to make the decision you are about to make. The next bet may be influenced by what just happened, how much you are up or down, how close kickoff is, how strongly you feel about the matchup, or whether the moment feels unfinished. Those things are real. But they are not the same as the decision itself.
What can help
Before acting, ask: “If nothing had just happened, would I still want to make this bet?” That question can separate the actual choice from momentum created by the last result or the current moment.
